Okie Niiksookoowaks

Littleplume is named after my great grandmother Josephine Littleplume.  I am an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Nation and a Cree Nation descendant.  My tribes as my ancestors intended are Aamsskáápi Piikûni and Néhiyaw.  My mother was born and raised in Two Medicine on the Blackfeet Nation.   My father is Mexican/Spanish and Irish.  Some of my favorite memories are of my uncle carving totem poles, my grandma hanging deer meat in the laundry room and my grandpa blasting powwow music.
